Jeff has worked for close to 36 years as a civil litigator. From the beginning of his career, the bulk of his efforts have been devoted to representing people that have been injured due to negligence or other misconduct by others. During that time, Jeff has represented plaintiffs in everything from a product liability case against a leading auto manufacturer to the death of victims due to neglect or medical malpractice.

Jeff was very fortunate to have been mentored for over a decade by highly respected trial attorneys practicing in the Chicago area. They provided excellent instruction and served as role models while Jeff devoted himself to learning the art of trial advocacy.

Jeff views the effort to become a respected trial lawyer as a lifetime endeavor that is ultimately an art/form as well as a vocation. Among his most recent verdicts, Jeff secured approximately $1,600,000 in a case wherein the Defendant offered $75,000 during the trial. The verdict was affirmed by the Illinois Supreme Court and enhanced the rights of injured parties to recover against the wrongdoer’s employer.

Jeff crafts a case intending to bring the dispute to a quick but fair resolution that addresses all of a client's needs. To bring a case to a maximum favorable conclusion, Jeff prepares every case as if it will be tried. Jeff seeks to achieve three critical things during that process: master the law, master the facts, and ultimately, be the most honest and prepared advocate in the courtroom.

While Jeff has not won every case, he has ever tried—and you should be wary of the attorney who claims to have done so—those principles, and the continued embrace of both drive and humility as an attorney have served him well.
